Affiliate Opportunity Score
Before I promote an offer, I want to know how it stacks up: does one conversion pay enough, do people search for it, how crowded it is, and whether the terms work for me. This tool puts those into one score from 0 to 100, and shows exactly how it got there.

Terms, if you know them
Leave empty what you don't know yet, for example before you pick a network. Empty fields are left out of the score.

Promising opportunity
One conversion is worth $50 to you. Based on 3 of 6 factors.
What to look at
- No weak spots on these numbers. Test with a small amount of traffic first.
- Not counted yet: cookie length, payout terms, easy to buy. Once you pick a network, add its terms and the score gets more precise.
The score compares offers on the same scale. It is not a prediction of income: check the terms on the program or network page before you start.
How the score works
Six factors, each scored from 0 to 100 and weighted. The scales are mine, built from what I look at when I pick offers, and they are the same for every offer, so scores are comparable.
Factor | Weight | How it is scored |
|---|---|---|
Payout per conversion | 35% | What one conversion is worth to you, for subscriptions over the months it keeps paying: $10 scores 30, $50 scores 60, $200 scores 85, $500 and more scores 100. |
Demand | 20% | Monthly searches for the product or niche: 100 scores 30, 1,000 scores 55, 10,000 scores 80, 100,000 and more scores 100. |
Competition | 15% | Low 100, medium 65, high 35, very high 15. |
Cookie length | 10% | 1 day scores 20, 7 days 40, 30 days 70, 60 days 85, 90 days and more 100. |
Payout terms | 10% | Average of the minimum payout ($50 or less scores 100, $500 scores 20) and the schedule (weekly 100, every two weeks 85, monthly 65, Net-30 or slower 40). |
Easy to buy | 10% | The customer's price: up to $20 scores 100, $100 scores 75, $500 scores 50, $2,000 scores 30. A free trial or free plan adds 20. |
When you don't know the terms yet
Often you find an offer before you choose the network that runs it, so you don't know the cookie, the minimum payout or the payout schedule. Leave those fields empty. The score then uses only the factors you filled in and re-weights them to 100%, and it tells you how many of the six factors it is based on. Add the terms once you sign up and the score gets more precise.
How I read the result
- 80 and above, strong: worth building pages or campaigns around.
- 60 to 79, promising: good, with one or two weak spots to work around.
- 40 to 59, mixed: it can work, but only with a clear angle or cheap traffic.
- Below 40, weak: I would look for a better offer in the same niche.
The score compares offers; it does not predict income. To see what an offer could earn on your traffic, put two or three of them into the Affiliate Program Comparison.
